Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard has been voted a shock 19th position in the rankings for the Ballon d’Or award.
The Belgium international has in a superb form after overcoming an injury that ruled him out of the start of the season as he has scored eight goals from 19 games so far.
But the 26-year-old Hazard recent display appears to have barely been noticed by the journalists who vote. However, the Blues talisman has been ranked 19 in the list of the world’s best players.
He is above Liverpool due Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho, while David De Gea of Manchester United comes in in 20th place.
Los Blancos star Cristiano Ronaldo is tipped to win the Ballon d’Or ahead of his arch-rival Lionel Messi.
